Biography: Born and grew up in Berlin. From 1980 to 1984 Otto Paul Schmidt studied in the prestigious photography studio press agency ADN in Berlin as an intern and subsequently in 1984 he completed his studies. From 2009 to 2011 he worked as a freelance photographer for a museum of art in Sarasota, FL. He is a member of the DJV in Germany.
