"Uncle Walter's Silver"

Uncle Walter's Silver is part of an ongoing series of photographs of family pieces. A few years before my paternal grandmother descended into full Alzheimer's, she would give family heirlooms for Christmas and other gifts. One Christmas she gave me this and inside was a note; "Donna, This belonged to your Great Uncle Walter. It is real old. I hope you can use it."
