Biography: Born in the Black Forest of southern Germany, Photographer Philipp Engelhorn worked as a photographers assistant in New York City for 6 years before relocating to Hong Kong in 2002.
Philipp’s photography strives to capture the beauty of the ordinary in traditional tribal life. The close and direct contact he has to his subjects creates work that is personal and touching. His work has taken him to some of the most remote places on the earth.
