Biography: Polly Sandvik Norman was born and raised in a family of artists in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Minneapolis schools and took art courses off and on outside of school.
She is a former Registered Nurse specializing in Newborn Intensive Care. She began her photography career as a volunteer photographer in her son’s schools.
Norman attended the Atelier Studio School of Fine Art from 1989-1995 and followed that education with a two-year mentorship with Maria Santiago, Artist and Instructor, College of Visual Arts, St. Paul.
