The sole survivor of a fire that decimated a grove of New Zealand Cabbage Trees, Wairarapa, New Zealand.
Biography: “The more I venture out into certain areas of New Zealand, the more I become attuned to the shifting landforms in front of my eyes and beneath my feet. The closer I look at forms of the land, the more I become aware of how they have been moulded, shaped and broken by massive tectonic forces and persistent, constantly moving wind and water. These elemental forces are what inspire my images”.
