Biography: Born in Istanbul. Raised in a family that valued photographs and more so the memories that they evoke. Started to take photos of his family, friends, and places he lived, when he was a little boy. It had become a passion of his and decided to pursue photography as a profession. He studied photography at university. He’s concentrated on the subjects of portrait and documentary photography during his studies. Besides photography, Mr. Mocan is also interested in cinematography and shot a short film called “Hunger”. He’s been a professional photographer since 2002.
