Biography: Ann Quinn is a nature and still life photographer who works in both digital color and black and white film, hand-printed in platinum or silver. In college, she was trained in drawing, painting, Sumi-e, and oil. From 2002-2006 Ann studied photography and began her ongoing informal apprenticeship with master photographer John Wimberley, with whom she has exhibited and offered workshops on photographic process. Ann’s images, whether offering portraits of flowers, chronicling the seasons of the garden, or expressing the elegance of the pigeon, continue to find beauty at the margins of daily...
