Biography: Jon Onstot is a fine art photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri. He began his journey as an amateur photographer in his teens, then turned his other passion, chemistry, into a career in chemistry at the Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, and retired as a Principal Chemist in 2016. Mr. Onstot is now reconnecting with photography to document the people and places that have influenced his life and that continue to resonate with his own sense of self.
