"The Future Comes Rushing Up."
My camera was drawn to this well-dressed gentleman because of his isolation and dower countenance on this mid-afternoon Tokyo subway train. I imagined him as a salaried middle manager who'd had a bad day. Lost in his own musings, he was unaware of the rapidly approaching future on the platform behind him, symbolized by the aggressively moving young man on the right.
