"Brothers"
I was photographing the 'Reading of the Charter' at the Seamer horse fair. These two brothers kept asking me to take their picture, the older of the two grabbed the younger in a headlock - and made him laugh revealing his missing teeth - I couldn't resist and managed a couple of shots before they ran off chasing each other.
Biography: Born in the northeast in 1956... still based in the northeast. I wanted to take reasonable snaps of memorable moments. When I bought my first camera — back in the mid-eighties — it was never my intention to become a professional photographer. A local photo agency gave me my first job...with one proviso. If I did the job well there would be more work — if I didn’t...there wouldn’t. Studio and Press work has been my main source of income ever since. Landscapes are a labour of love.
