Afternoon
Biography: A native Californian, I grew up loving the ocean and the freedom of the outdoors. My brother was the designated artist in the family, me the scientist (conservation genetics), and so I didn't begin taking photographs with intention until my 50s. I have a darkroom in Sand City, California (near Monterey) where I develop traditional black and white images as well as play with alternative processes.
