Biography: Keith Dannemiller was born and educated in Akron, Ohio, USA. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Organic Chemistry.
While currently a freelancer, over the past 27 years he has been affiliated with Black Star and Saba agencies. Visual projects that have captured his interest include: a fundamentalist sect that uses exorcism to deal with social problems; the modern syncretic rituals of the cult to Saint Jude Thaddeus; the struggles of Central American migrants in Mexico, and the effects of drug violence on the residents of the Mexican state of Guerrero.
