"Lone Tree's Blues"
Late at night I ventured out to photograph the blizzard. That lone tree, fragile yet resilient, sang to me.
Biography: Nila Onda has lived across two continents and produced a multi-faceted body of work ranging from documentary to fine art photography and experimental film. A young cinephile and self-taught photographer, Nila built her first darkroom age fifteen. She was born in Rome and lived most of her adult life in London working in film and television production. Nila has directed narrative and experimental films, music videos and the documentary Babe in Toyland, a Dorian Gray parable set in London fashion Babylon. She has two book projects in development: 'American Sufi', and 'Secrets of the Selva'.
