Biography: Ralph Mercer, a teacher, fine art, and commercial photographer has been exhibiting and working professionally since graduating from the Rhode
Island School of Design BFA, and University of Massachusetts, MFA. Among his many clients are ATT, Black and Decker, Chase Bank, Citibank, Hewlett Packard, Motorola, Oprah magazine and UPS. His photography of women is meant to honor womanhood's archetypal qualities of sensual beauty, procreation and motherhood. He wishes to imply a spiritual connection through superimposition and merging of a human figure with a natural organic subject.
