This dried vine tendril, with its tender and protective character, has been shaped by the challenges of growth and is perfect in its uniqueness, with its own beauty, beyond stereotypes and norms.

Biography: I learned my photographic craft from the photographer Valentin Schwab. During a specialized internship with him in 1986/87, I gained profound insights into the technique and aesthetics of documentary photography. After a specialized internship in film and studio production at Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1988, I worked for several years as a camera assistant, both in analogue and electronic film recording.
