Group portrait of 3 black men, like a Black Holy Trinity, made at the beginning of the BLM movement.
Biography: I'm a Dutch FineArt photographer and former dermatologist and I create FineArt portraits by combining use of light with references to symbolism,religion,art and history.I intertwine personal stories and emotions of the people I photograph with past experiences as a medical doctor.I explore ways to portray humanity in a different way,giving space to expressing an inner life,one that is kept hidden and giving it significance and legitimacy.The imagery is intended to challenge the viewer with social constructs and transcends the individual story and reflects on what is happening around us.
